How much does it cost to file a confirmation statement in London?
Our fixed fee is £100 + VAT (£120 total) when you pay online, and it includes the £50 Companies House filing fee. If you would like to talk to us before paying, assisted filing is £120 + VAT. See our pricing page for details.
What is a confirmation statement?
A confirmation statement (form CS01) is a yearly filing to Companies House that confirms your company details – registered office, directors, shareholders, PSCs and SIC codes – are correct and up to date. Every UK limited company and LLP must file one, even if dormant.
When is my confirmation statement due?
At least once every 12 months. The review period ends on the anniversary of your incorporation or your last confirmation statement, and you then have 14 days to file. Filing late is a criminal offence and can lead to the company being struck off.
How quickly will you file it?
Within 2 working days of receiving your payment and details. If you are close to your deadline, call us on 0203 4411 258.
Can we update your SIC codes with the confirmation statement?
Yes. If your nature of business has changed, tell us and we will include the new SIC codes in your filing. SIC code changes are quoted separately – get a quote – and the fee for the confirmation statement itself stays the same.
Do I need to verify my identity with Companies House?
Directors and people with significant control are being required to verify their identity under new rules. See our Director ID Verification page.
